Position Description:The Sales & Service Representative II handles customer servicetransactions, branch administrative activities and processes traditionalteller transactions. This associate assists with branch sales activities,generating sales referrals for new customers and from existing customersthrough execution of the branch's marketing and business development plan.This associate is responsible for providing customers and prospects withinformation about products and services offer by the Bank, and providinghigh quality customer service for all customers.Principal Accountabilities:Sales Support: Identify sales referrals while handling customer service andtransaction needs. Maintain basic product knowledge to ensure that customerneeds may be identified. Participate in branch sales huddles and campaigns asdirected by management. Promote the Bank's products and services throughcustomer and prospect out reach, maintain an active prospect list forreferrals, and/or any other sales support as defined by the branch'smarketing and business development plan.Teller Operations: Perform basic teller transactions such as paying andreceiving , verifying deposit amounts, examining checks for endorsementand negotiability, operating within established operational authority limitand engaging branch management, Branch Central or Branch OperationsManagement for support as needed. Count cash drawer, research and locateoutageService: Answer questions, provide account maintenance and resolveproblems for customers concerning products and services provided by theBank; identify the problem, collect data, secure answers and communicateupdates and resolutions to the customer as appropriate. Work with theOperations Services Supervisor (or Operations Services Lead) or otherassociates as necessary. Perform customer service activities (e.g. checkorders, account maintenance, address change). Provide excellent serviceat all times following the Banks Service Excellence guidelines.Teamwork: Foster teamwork with fellow associates in the branch as a whole.Maintain helpful and courteous interactions with others and keep communicationlines open.Risk Mitigation/Compliance: Adhere to all federal regulations and bankpolicies; keep current on bank procedures via the Banks resources andrequired training. Maintain all internal controls.
