OverallResponsibility

Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts. Work closely with Business Development Manager and Sr Account Manager with new and prospective clients and or following up from Business Development Manager hand over of account. Identify market opportunities and works with the technical teams and operations to grow profitable revenue for the company. This position requires the Sales Account Manager to adhere to NCS sales process including but not limited to, prospecting for initial contact, quoting, job planning, job execution and post job maintenance.

Key areasof responsibility

  • Establish keycontacts among potential clients, keeps abreast of development plans ofexisting clients and has a very good understanding of contract terms andprovisions

  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activitiesand customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, includingcosts and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity

  • Maintain and develop existing and newcustomers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, andrelevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, andcustomer satisfaction

  • Plan/carry out/support local marketingactivities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal salesefforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches,promotions, advertising and exhibitions.

  • Job tasks require frequent interchange andcompletion of job tasks depend in large part upon effective interaction withothers

  • Respond to and follow up sales inquiries usingappropriate methods

  • Monitor and report on market and competitoractivities and provide relevant reports and information

  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internallyand externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development ofprofitable business and sustainable relationships

  • Establish, maintain a relationship with NCS’smanagement team, provide customer feedback and potential service job completewith timing

  • Present technical presentations and write andpublish technical papers

  • Field visits to install and/or frac site maybe required on occasion

  • Continuous training for product and proceduralknowledge

  • Support our HS&E program

  • Abide by and follow the NCS Promise

Qualifications

  • BS degree in related field and / or 2 - 10years of related industry knowledge.Frac, Coil Tubing, and / or completion tool knowledge is preferred(*Sales Engineer requires BS degree in Engineering)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clientrepresentatives and NCS management

  • Comfortable with large groups and publicspeaking (Effective presentation, and negotiating skills)

  • Technical working knowledge of NCS HSE program,products and procedures (will train if needed)

  • Proficient in use of CRM tools (will train ifneeded)

  • FLSA Status: Exempt

  • Position is regionally based, 24/7 customer call

  • Some travel will be required

  • Will be required to attend jobs on customer locations at times
