Raise the bar on patient experience and care and join theHCA HealthONE team where you can make a difference every day.About our Level II NICU:Busy Level II NICU with average census of 33 infants.Census comprised of higher acuity, complex infants as well as infantsrequiring feeding and weight stabilization.Position requires floating to the Level IV NICUWhat you can expect to do in this role:You will deliver care based on criteria that is age appropriate based on thephysical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of theindividual patientYou will optimize the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyondthe traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.You will be responsible for the care of premature and ill newborn patientsmeeting the admissions criteria of our NICU.You will oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintainingfinal accountability for the care given to assigned patients.You will serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplinesfor well-coordinated patient careWhat qualifications you will need for this role:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferredCurrent licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or currentactive multistate Registered Nurse license.Current BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross,requiredNRP, required within first 3 months of hireSTABLE, preferred1 to 2 years acute care specialty nursingPresbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, located in the Uptown neighborhoodin Denver, CO and licensed for 680 beds, PSL provides the most advancedcare for patients across the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains.
