RN Charge Nurse - 4B Med/Surg (Job ID: 3499)Job SummaryUnder minimal supervision, performs supervisory functions over professionalnursing and support staff in an inpatient unit, specialty clinic, ortreatment program in various patient care settings. Under generalsupervision, adheres to the American Nurses Association (ANA) standardsof professional nursing and performance, and the ANA Code of Ethics toprovide care to all patients. Applies critical thinking, evidence-basedpolicies, procedures, guidelines and competence to collaborate with thehealth care team to promote excellence in patient safety and quality outcomes.Utilizes the Theory of Human Caring and Caritas in daily practice. ActiveRegistered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Colorado or a participatingcompact state.
