The Division of Athletics and Recreation at the University of Denver iscurrently seeking intern candidates who are interested in pursuing a career inthe field of campus recreation. Internships are available for the 2020-21academic year in the areas of Member Services, Facility Operations andStudent Programs.Position SummaryInterns help with the administration of programs and services in the areas ofmembership, facility operations and student programs at the Daniel L.Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness. Positions have an anticipated startdate of August 2021.These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours ina calendar year.Essential FunctionsAssist with facility and program supervision at the Ritchie Center.Assist with the administration of recreation and event-based programs at theRitchie Center.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProvide excellent customer service for all Ritchie Center participants andcustomers.Recognize and respond effectively and efficiently to emergencies.Maintain a clean and safe environment within the natatorium and locker rooms.Able to work both individually and as part of a team.Required QualificationsAmerican Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, or willingness toobtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.Work SchedulePart-time, hours will vary.Application DeadlineApplications will be reviewed as they are received.Special InstructionsCandidates must apply online through jobs.du.edu to be considered.
