Our Midwest,Rockies and California Operations are seeking an experienced leader to serveas Renewable Energy Engineering Lead (Western US) to grow our EnergyPractice and support a variety of projects from concept to completion in adynamic consulting environment.Tetra Tech's Energy Practice includes routing, siting, engineering andpermitting of fossil fuel, wind, and solar facilities, electric powergeneration, electric transmission systems and substations, natural gaspipelines and compressor stations, and other related facilities.This is a strategic growth opportunity within Tetra Tech's Energy Program.This individual will assist other Energy Initiative Practice leads establishthe strategic direction and growth of Tetra Tech's renewable energy andengineering practice. Our ideal candidate will have the experience and proventrack record of building teams and winning work with the opportunity todevelop and expand our team of engineers into a national renewable engineeringpractice to support multiple locations across Tetra Tech.Our Renewable Energy Engineering Lead (Western US) will specifically leadand further expand the development, design, and construction of renewableenergy facilities with a focus on solar, wind, battery energy storagesystems and transmission gen-tie.Responsibilities:Business Development:Sustain and grow Renewable Energy clients and key accounts.Develop and expand Tetra Tech's renewable energy services throughcollaboration and an integrated services approach by partnering with otherEnergy Initiative Practice Leaders.Build, grow, and develop a team of high performers within the Energy Practice.Participate in client marketing and business development activities whichconsists of proposal development, technical presentations, trade showattendance, client meetings and the development of marketing materials.Strategic Thinking:Identify trends and work with Energy Initiative Practice Leaders to develop along-term view of the renewable energy industry, market, and client base.Identify new service areas in response to changes in the market and servicearea opportunities.Innovate and enhance Tetra Tech's capabilities, emerging practices,integrated approach to improve its competitive advantage in the market.Ability to create innovative and effective client solutions that are alignedwith the fast-paced shifts in the renewable energy market due to technology,climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, resiliency and sustainability.Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address clientgoals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.Leadership:Working closely with Operations Management, Energy Initiative Leaders, andother Business Unit Leaders to deliver safe, profitable, and sustainableprojects and services for our clients.Develop a team of multi-discipline engineering staff through coaching andmentoring to expand our renewable engineering services, providingcompetitive and profitable services and projects.Direct and manage marketing and business development within the RenewableEnergy practice through collaboration and building intercompany relations withother Tetra Tech Operating Units.Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional,safety standards, practices, codes.Lead and support the development of engineering technical standards,educational materials and templates.Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team membersto meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities a
