Position and instructpatients regarding x-ray procedures.Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by EmergencyDepartment and nursing units.Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following establishedprocedures.Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, andphysicians both in-person and via telephone.Maintain X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; ensurepreventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis;contact outside service for major malfunctions according to establishedguidelines.Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of adepartment/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate thatdepartment's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.Your experience.We hire people, not resumes.
