What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage, lead, and oversee the transportation division

  • Provide mentoring to other staff and review their work

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients

  • Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of staff

  • Collaborate with business development team

  • Make staffing assignments and reassignments

  • Conduct performance evaluations

  • Conduct training and development opportunities

  • Define scope of work, budget estimates, staffing requirements, design criteria, schedule, standards, and procedures for project assignments

  • Change order requests

  • Promote quality improvement on projects

What You Need for this Position

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)

  • Must have PE License in Colorado

  • 10-20 years of experience with highway design and project management

  • Ability to help grow our Colorado transportation division

  • Proven ability to perform in a leadership roles

  • Must have leadership and mentoring skills

  • Knowledge of MicroStation and other engineering software

  • Must have knowledge of industry practices/regulations
