The position will include rotating dayand evening shifts, as well as rotating weekends and holidays. Unlock your potential here!Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician with us:You will fill automated dispensing systemsYou will package unit dose medicationsYou will prepares non-sterile compounding medicationsYou will enter and fill unit and physician ordersYou will produce labels and prepare IV admixtures (including chemotherapy)You will charge and reconcile billing documentsYou will audit supplies in nursing unitsYou will prepare medicationsYou will enter medication orders in computerYou will provide basic technical support for automated dispensing machines andother pharmacy computer systemsYou will stock and distribute pharmacy supplies when neededYou will be responsible for ordering, control, dispensing,preparation, delivering, filing documents, reconciliation, anddestroying controlled substances within the facility when neededQualifications you will need for this role:Upon hire: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent)with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Techniciancertificate, or Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued ProvisionalPharmacy Technician Certificate. If initially hired with a Colorado Board ofPharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, mustachieve Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within12 mHigh school diploma required.
