Overview

Martin-Ray Laundry Systems, Inc. (MRLS) is seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative for our commercial washer and dryer company in the Metro Denver, Northern Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska area. We are willing to train the right person if you demonstrate motivation and initiative. Our customers include commercial laundries, hospitals, hotels, motels, sports clubs, government agencies, universities, schools, and coin laundries. The successful candidate will receive extensive training on our product line, as well as training in all facets of the self-service laundry business. You will be secure in your knowledge, comfortable and conversant with existing assigned customers, and fully prepared to canvas and develop new customers prior to going in the field. Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads

  • The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue

  • Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management

  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers

  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the territory

  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients

  • Update client information in the company contact database

  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

  • 3+ years’ outside sales experience

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time

  • Strong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office Products

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to speak in front of others

  • Pass the required background checks

  • Have first rate customer service skills, along with an excellent work ethic

  • Must have a driver's license with an insurable driving record

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with Martin Ray customers and Martin Ray associates.

  • Attend training sessions both in-house and off-site as needed

  • Submit to any drug testing required by Martin Ray and/or Martin Ray's customers

  • Daily and overnight travel

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • The compensation plan includes a salary commensurate with experience, 401(k), dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, and performance incentives

  • A car allowance/compensation, laptop and mobile phone will be provided upon hire
