NYSE: AMCR; ASX: AMC JOB SUMMARY:Labeler/Zecchetti Operator employees are responsible for the operation ofmultiple labeling machines and palletizing machines using written workinstructions and computer interface. Requires a general understanding ofoverall manufacturing process and the ability to understand and follow goodmanufacturing practices and product safety requirements. Qualified candidatesare responsible for starting and maintaining Labeler Machine and ZecchettiOperation with a complete and overall understanding in the assigned area ofresponsibility.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures that all machines within the scope of responsibility are keptrunning, labeling quality bottles and palletizing them while ensuring theleast amount of down-time possible. Includes communicating shift hand-off withon-coming shift personnel and maintaining a clean and organized work area andlabel storage area.Completes all mold changes and set-ups, and minor maintenance activities.Directly responsible for the proper support to all other team members toensure a positive team environment.Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding andrecognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustmentsto correct quality defects.Maintains all required documentation of quality checks, downtime,housekeeping and data entry.Understands and utilizes all related software and other equipment required forefficient production of quality product. Verifies production schedule toensure product is being labeled accurately.Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Amcor"Safety Contract" and other training. Understands and communicates allhazards and safety issues to co-workers, Leads and Managers. Properly usesall required personal protective equipment.Demonstrates organizational ability to complete daily clean-up, and 5Sassignments, and adequately maintain good housekeeping throughout the entirearea of responsibility.Performs other related duties as directed by the Production Manager and/orShift Lead.Adheres to Product Safety requirements regarding cleanliness and notifies ortakes action on any observations that may create a product safety risk to ourcustomers.Immediately reports any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents in theirdepartments.Takes reasonable care for self and others to prevent injury.QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalentPreferred: Previous manufacturing work experienceAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business reports andcorrespondence.Able to recognize and understand numbers and values.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drawvalid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and customer needs.Ability to visually and mentally make priority decisions / judgement callsbased on the situation at hand.
