We have nearly 13,000 associates andoffer a wide variety of employment opportunities - from warehouse forkliftoperators and supervisors to accounting, customer support, engineering,transportation, and technology solutions positions.ResponsibilitiesSummary:Assists in maintaining an accurate record of inventory by preventing andresolving inventory discrepancies.Essential Functions:Conducts regular inventory counts via cycle and/or physical inventories,records results and discrepancies, and reports findings to appropriatemanagement team member or customer as needed or as necessary.Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies by taking appropriate stepssuch as researching any previous and/or current customer claims,conducting cycle counts to identify missing product(s), adjustinginventory quantities as necessary or as appropriate, printing correctlabels, and handling and/or disposing of damaged inventory as appropriate.Updates inventory counts and inventory discrepancies in the appropriateWarehouse Management System (WMS) and/or other various system platformsas necessary in order to maintain efficient inventory flow, includingprocessing any adjustments that are required or needed.Assists as needed or as requested with special projects, handling variouscustomer-specific requests, or reporting on any operational errors whichimpact or may impact inventory performance.Ensures that inventory pick patterns are established by partnering withselectors to complete product slottings in order to meet compliancerequirements and to optimize shipping efficiencies.Performs other inventory-related duties as required or as requested.In addition to the duties listed above, employees working at a 3PL locationmust also process any store returns within directed or required timeframe,and communicate any product recall notifications to appropriate managementteam member and/or customer as necessary.QualificationsQualifications .and. Experience:High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).One (1) year warehouse experience. One (1) year inventory experiencepreferred.Current and valid Forklift operator license.Experience or exposure to an electronic or computer management warehousesystem preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal and customer servicecommunication skills sufficient to read and interpret shipping invoices andother warehouse documents and partner with customers and other co-workers.Demonstrated mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply,and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in various reporting tools such as Wordor Excel sufficient to create communication documents and basic financialreports. Demonstrated familiarity with the IBM Automated System (AS) 400system preferred.Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-pacedenvironment where deadlines and scopes may change regularly while maintainingaccuracy. Demonstrated ability to self-start with little or no directionpreferred.Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions.Also must be able to repeatedly get up and down from chairs, and reach orbend for several hours per day.Must possess manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements fortypical office work.Must be able to talk, hear, and see sufficiently t
