As a result, we've set a new standard, and ourclients have made E2 Optics one of America's largest and fastest-growingcompanPOSITION SUMMARY:Working as a member of a Government Programs project team, the Technician isprimarily responsible for enhancing over-all jobsite productivity. TheTechnician will assist with multiple aspects of the cable installation processincluding pathway construction, rough-in, routing, TelecommunicationRoom build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and grounding.ONLY CANDIDATES WITH ACTIVE SECRET - TOP SECRET DOD CLEARANCE, BICSITechnician Certification and ACTIVE PASSPORT APPLYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Safety is E2's number one Core Value. Follow safe work practices and companyand client work site policies.Promotes company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture.Assisting the project team with installation activities as needed.Ability to attend site surveys and create survey results and installationplan.Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of theinstallation process including: OSP, ISP, rack, stack, patch,performs system testing and terminates, labels, tests and troubleshootsstructured cabling installations as required.Proactively maintain jobsite organization and basic housekeeping.Organize materials, tools, and equipment, collect debris, and ensurehazardous conditions are promptly addressedImprove reading and interpreting floorplans, drawings, specifications,and cut sheetsEnhance learning about the different materials and methodologies involved withthe installation of a structured cabling systemSeek to understand a task and ask relevant questions before beginning tocomplete it.Mentor and support Installers as they learn E2 Optics and the business.Maintain a satisfactory compliance with customer security requirementsFull working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient on computer.TRAVEL: This position is generally expected to require overnight travel(25%) in certain regions, while it will also require frequent(50%+) overnight and extended out-of-town travel in others CONUS andOCONUS. The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel asrePOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:Must have active Secret - Top Secret DOD ClearanceActive BISCI Technician Certification requiredActive US passportHigh School Diploma or GED requiredObtain Fiber Optics Association CPT Certification preferred. Must be earnedonce hired.Experience:Minimum 3-5 years' work experience supporting DOD and Government projects.Minimum 3-5 years' work experience in Structured Cabling or relatedindustry/construction experience.Read, write, and understand EnglishAble to distinguish color codesPOSITION BONUS...
