Estimations will include all the necessary materials, labor, andengineering costs required to deliver a profitable job which meets or exceedscustomer requirements. This position also coordinates sales to projectmanagement transition activities.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCore Duties .and. Responsibilities:Safety is E2's number one Core Value. Follow safe work practices and companyand client worksite policies.Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric cultureResponds to bid specifications, writing scope of work, developing costestimates, predicting the duration of the project, and includingcontingencies.Estimates the amount and type of material required to deliver the bidspecification.Provides complete project engineering and estimating labor.Assists the sales organization by attending site-walks and pre-bid meetings,documenting site conditions for use in the development of accurate costestimatesEnsures timely completion of and meets bid schedules and deadlines.Acts as liaison between and meet with sales, project management andoperations to effectively transition projects and streamline communications.Working with the Government Program team to recommend vendors and materials toobtain best solution, most competitive price, and proper lead-times.Reads and understand blueprints.Establishes and maintains working relationships with vendors andsubcontractors.Obtain knowledge on other technologies, as directed by customer demand.Contribute to product selection research, configuration standards, andbest practicesHelp educate our sales teams on our products and services.Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel asrequired by E2.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:Minimum of five (5) years' experience estimating large scale newGovernment Focused construction projects including mission critical datacenters and Federal, State, and Local structure cable projects.Structured Cabling/Low Voltage industry experience required.Familiarity with and understanding of UFC, DOD, Federal, State, andLocal specs and standards and the ability to research and familiarize.2019 Auto CAD experience preferredExperience:High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's/Bachelor's Degree ispreferredRCDD is preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).Must have the proven ability to design, engineer, estimate and develop awritten and graphic...
