on-site hardware, storage and network platforms in a 24/7 shift worker

environment at a customer site in Aurora CO. Successful candidate will be

required to travel TDY to remote customer site in Harrogate England at least

50%, but no more than 75% of the time.

Candidate will be required to work a rotating

shift providing tier 2 and 3 hardware and firmware technical support services.

Candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and test computer workstations, servers

and peripherals. Work includes installation, moves, removal and sanitization of

monitors, workstations, printers, servers, storage devices and network devices.

Candidate will provide more complex support for

issues that are not resolved at initial response support level according to

established procedures. This support includes the detailed tracking of

incident/service request from receipt through closure using a COTS Ticket

Tracking System, including consumed parts.

Qualifications

Requires:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience.

  • Associate’s degree or vocational certificate, experience considered in lieu of degree.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

  • Good communication skills; shows tact effective listening skills and follow through.

  • Proficient Field Technical Support skillset.

  • Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work.

  • Knowledge of high availability system environments.

  • Basic knowledge of change management process.

  • participate in on-site account support meetings both internal and external.

Preference given to candidates with:

  • CompTIA A or similar certification.

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science related field.

  • Experience with support of full range of HPE hardware system platforms.

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word& PowerPoint) proficiency.

Travel- 50% to Harrogate UK.

Certification- Current DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Lifting- Must be able to lift heavy materials (50 pounds).

Clearance-Current SSBI with adjudicated polygraph and the ability to maintain the same.
