Enrollment Analyst- QA (Job ID: 4173)Job SummaryUnder general supervision, conducts quality assurance reviews of workcompleted in the Enrollment Services Department. Maintains and enforces aquality assurance program that promotes continuous improvement; assiststrainers in the development and delivery of training materials for new hiresand provides ongoing training and support to Enrollment staff.Responsibilities1.Ensures the accuracy of data entry into State CBMS system and Denver Healthinternal systems by performing case reviews.2.Conducts one-on-one coaching with Enrollment Specialists on a monthly basisconcerning State CBMS system and Denver Health internal systems.3.Serves as "gatekeeper" for the Enrollment Services department bytransferring cases to Enrollment Specialists and/or County Human Servicesdepartments.4.Monitors trends to minimize preventable errors and rectifies performancethrough coaching in order to reduce incorrect Medical Assistance programeligibility approvals.5.Actively identifies problems and opportunities for improvement; identifiesappropriate solutions and involves others in the implementation process.6.Ensures compliance with all federal and state statutes, policies,regulations, legislative initiatives.7.Provides training and support to Enrollment staff regarding CBMS,Medicaid, Buy-In, CHP+, CICP, DFAP and Connect for Health Coloradopolicies and procedures.8.Helps collect case files in response to internal and external auditrequests, and prepares responses to any resulting audit findings.9.Resolves CHP+ appeals under the direction of the training manager.10.Researches and submits help desk tickets to the Governor's Office ofInformation Technology for the entire department.11.Works closely with State entities to resolve high profile and problematicbuy-in cases.12.Promotes positive interpersonal relationships with fellow employees,physicians, patients and visitors. Treats all individuals with courtesy,dignity, empathy, and respect; consistently displays courteous andrespectful verbal and non-verbal communications.13.Compiles and completes various reports.14.Completes all duties and responsibilities in a non-discriminatory mannerregardless of age group(s), cultures, religions, gender, race,and sexual orientation of the patients/clients to whom service is beingprovide15.Attends all department related meetings, trainings, and coaching.16.Complies with and demonstrates support for the vision, mission, andvalues of Denver Health. Supports and adheres to the Denver Health Code ofConduct.17.Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with the Denver HealthDress Code policy.18.Maintains regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the DenverHealth Attendance policy.19.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience1.Two years of experience with the State CBMS system required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1.Advanced knowledge of medical and/or public assistance programs includingMedicaid, CHP+, CICP, DFAP, and Connect of Health Colorado health plans.2.Knowledge of federal and Colorado Statutes, legislative initiatives andregulations, as well as federal, state and local policies.3.Advanced knowledge of the eligibility determination system CBMS.4.Skilled in analytical thinking, problem solving, and process improvement.5.Skilled in providing excellent customer service.6.Ability to disseminate program information, policies, rules and regulations.7.Ability to train, mentor and coach Enrollment staff for continuousimprovement.8.Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a thorough, clear, andprofessional manner.9.Ability to simultaneously coordinate and manage several functions,programs, and tasks in various stages of completion.10.Ability to consistently implement program, department and organizationalpolicies and procedures.11.Ability to work well in teams and independently to get projects done, andto work with those at all levels of the organization.12.Ability to quickly ad
