Job Description

WSP, a world-class multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm, is seeking an Electrical Designer for our Denver office. We work closely with architects and owners from around the world on large, complex projects with a focus on sustainability and energy performance of the built environment.

Our Engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out. WSP offers excellent growth opportunities: Many of our senior leaders started out as young engineers in our firm.

Be involved in projects with our Property & Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Responsibilities include:

  • Service utility coordination

  • Power distribution

  • Lighting

  • Fire alarm

  • Low voltage infrastructure

  • Emergency power systems

  • UPS design

  • Construction Administration

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Intern experience designing electrical systems for the built environment

  • Knowledge of building and energy codes

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit

  • Quality driven

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to drive projects forward

  • Ability to perform well under time constraint

  • Interest in innovative design, specifically in renewable energies and sustainable, high performing buildings
