Summary:

Looking for a Division Order Analyst / Manager to be based in Denver, CO and take a leading role within a small, nimble and dynamic land team, assist in managing our growing land position, support due diligence efforts and review land/title/contracts/agreements. This individual would create value through their expertise in subsurface land, and engagement and flexibility working in other facets of the Land Department of BKV Corporation and its subsidiaries, and their due diligence support within our New Ventures group. Details regarding this role entail:

Asset Management

Ensure accuracy and integrity of BKV s Division of Interest for the allocation of revenues and expenses generated from operated and non-operated properties across JIB and Revenue decks

Prepare, confirm and maintain division order interests in Landdox and Enertia for both operated and non-operated properties, check and verify as appropriate

Analyze and interpret ownership documents and title opinions for input and maintenance of ownership

Analyze and manage owner s revenue accounts, suspense and monthly check detail

Work collaboratively with revenue and JIB department to accurately process monthly adjustments, and resolve discrepancies

Coordinate accurate partner statuses including elections and ongoing title issues with Land team

Work with non-op partners to maintain accurate division or interests for all non-operated properties

Track all necessary curative requirements from available Title Opinions and other title materials

Assist in review and input of all conversion data for acquisitions and divestitures

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of BKV assets and the governing contracts

Coordinate with accounting on payout tracking and escheat processing

Landowner Relations

Respond to owner relations inquires

Prepare and manage landowner transfer and change forms and process

Perform curative actions to place owners in pay status

Serve as point of contact for various landowner questions and concerns, including in person meetings

Negotiate leases, lease amendments, surface agreements, and ROW

Travel

This role may be required to travel at times

Specific background and profile:

Undergraduate degree required; preference is given to Petroleum Land Management, Real Estate or graduate degree

5 plus years of related Division Order or Land experience

Preference is given for current membership with AAPL and NADOA, including CDOA Certification

General knowledge of oil and gas industry accounting principles

Strong analytical, math and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

Strong knowledge of, or ability to learn, Excel, Enertia and Landdox systems

Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven environment

Strong, positive references from current or former employers
