Posting Details Posting Number S00019 Position Title Diversity Projects Assistant Position Number Student Work-Study Hourly Wage$12.85 + (depending on Work-Study Award) Employee Category Student Department Office of Diversity and Inclusion Location Office of Diversity and Inclusion (Division) Position SummaryThe Diversity Projects Assistant will work under the guidance of the ExecutiveDirector of HSI Initiatives and Inclusion and assist with the development andimplementation of diversity programs, services, research, and HispanicServing Institutions (HSI) initiatives. This position is a greatopportunity for students who have/want to develop expertise in the field ofdiversity, inclusion, and are considering graduate school. Duties/Responsibilities*Assist with the development and preparation of presentations, workshops,trainings, and meetings*Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, programs, and otherpublications for the office*Assist with communication efforts and correspondences with potentialattendees, presenters, and reviewers for various Office of Diversity andInclusion (ODI) events*Assist the Executive Director of HSI Initiatives and Inclusion with HSIefforts, programs and services*Assist with online communication for the ODI/HSI websites*Attend planning meetings for events when applicable*Assist with research and data collection on issues relating to diversity,inclusion, HSI initiatives*Execute other duties as assigned.
