Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR Engineering, Inc. currently has an opening for a Civil CAD Designer tojoin our solid waste team in Denver, COThe primary duties of the entry to mid-level Civil CAD Designer, is withoccasional assistance from Project Engineers and Managers, producesdrawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations ofengineering designs using computer-aided drafting software. Requires a goodworking knowledge of AutoCAD, grading, construction documents andtechnical knowledge of Municipal Civil Engineering. Work may also entailfield investigations and inspections, data compilation, generation ofspreadsheets, technical calculations, reports, research, andenvironmental compKeywords: Civil CAD Designer, Solid Waste, Civil DesignQualificationsRequired Qualifications* Associates or technical school degree.* 2 years' experience in civil design with CAD programs.* Knowledge of AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software required.* Requires a good working knowledge of CAD, construction documents andtechnical knowledge.* Requires a good working knowledge of grading, topography, and drainagepatterns.* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a must.Preferred Qualifications* Prior civil engineering CAD related project experience preferred* MicroStation is a plus* ArcGIS is a plus* Civil 3D is preferred* STRONG PREFERENCE GIVEN TO LOCAL CANDIDATESWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's alsoabout what you do and how you do it.
