Job Locations US-COID 2018-3500Position Type Permanent Full Time OVERVIEW This role is based within our Enterprise team here at Mimecast and we arelooking for an exceptional person with strong sales skills for the Denverarea. The Enterprise team focuses on named opportunities in organizationsthat employ over 1,500 employees. This is a very rich part of the USmarket, and a space where the Mimecast proposition resonates very well. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated, strong team player with aproven track record of success in generating new business in large accounts.A good understanding of the corporate technology stack as well as cloudcomputing will be beneficial. A strong work ethic is vital in thiscompetitive market place. Successful candidates will thrive in a fastpaced, agile but well-structured sales environment that is regularlyreinventing itself. RESPONSIBILITIES Account Executives will be supported by and need to work closely with,the Market Development, Partner Development, and Marketing teams as wellas our partner community, to build a pipeline of new business opportunitieswhich they can successfully transition into new customers. * Identification of sales opportunities and the strategy in assignedaccounts * Identify and implement strategies to sell solutions into new accounts * Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual new business and upsell targets. * Work with the Partner / Channel Development team to develop andexecute against account plans * Develop and execute against sales activity plans in order to achievethe agreed targets * Build and maintain relationships with new business prospects * Manage Business Administration by generating the reporting of the KeyPerformance Indicator s* and general CRM housekeeping * Sign up to and execute against a set of end to end sales methodologyand process * Monitor and report on activities while providing relevant managementinformation * Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary toperform duties, aid business, and develop organizationally * Attend trainings and develop relevant knowledge and skills Key Performance Indicator s: * Weekly end user activities * Number of net new qualified opportunities added to the pipeline * Pipeline stats pipeline movements * Forecasting accuracy QUALIFICATIONS * Degree level education (preferred but not required) * Minimum 6 +years IT sales experience (ideally within Email /Messaging / Security / Storage - but not essential) * Proven new business sales achievement in large accounts against target * Ideally with experience of both Direct & In-Direct sales roles. * Understanding of Corporate IT teams and their buying processes Desirable skills: * Strong business / commercial acumen * Strong communication/presentation skills (Written and Verbal) Person Specification: * Results-oriented with a positive outlook * A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance andthat of their team members * Thirst for knowledge and a can do attitude * Problem solver * Proven team player * Presentable, articulate and adaptable * Tenacious * Comfortable with a high performance and dynamic environment Reward We offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package includingprivate healthcare, dental and life coverage.
