The Headlines:

In the role of 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician working in Denver, CO you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work closely with the warehouse teams. You will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with the maintenance, repair, and inspection of all warehouse equipment, warehouse systems, and general facilities.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assists with all maintenance operations and repairs for a 280,000 sq. ft. distribution facility.

  • Maintaining Warehouse Systems and Equipment:

  • Inspect equipment to ensure all systems are operating properly

  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled

  • Perform any required maintenance throughout the facility to maintain operation

  • Identify necessary repairs which may be required during equipment shut down

  • Complete specific building maintenance as assigned, including but not limited to: palletizing equipment maintenance, conveyor maintenance, electronic troubleshooting, general mechanical/electrical work, fabrication, plumbing, painting, HVAC, and general cleaning

  • Responsible for adhering to and enforcing all safety policies, requirements, and regulations. Assists with ensuring the same from all employees and vendors as required.

  • Monitor and catalog spare parts inventory

  • Other duties as assigned

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED, required

  • You have a minimum 3 years’ experience in facility service/maintenance, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Conveyor and automation experience preferred.

  • We prefer your experience with FM Global requirements, NFPA 70E guidelines, OSHA regulations/policies, and International Building Code.

  • You have strong organizational and multitasking skills; must be self-motivated and are able to work without direct supervision.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels within CDC as well as with outside vendors.

  • Computer skills preferred; AutoCad, MS Office and CMMS.

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $27 to $30 an hour plus shift differential & annual bonus
