Ent Credit Union VP Of Mortgage Lending - VPMOR02650 in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Responsible for overseeing the Production (sales and business development)and the Support (processing, underwriting, closing, secondarymarketing, servicing and system support) of the first mortgage lendingdepartment. Provides a balance between quantity (volume) and quality(credit risk, documentation, and marketability) for the mortgagelending area. Provides technical support and direction to all staff to ensurecompliance with all regulatory, investor, and company policy and procedures.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the sales, business development and marketing of the mortgage loanoperation.Supervise the underwriting, processing, and closing of mortgage loans.Financial analysis, including pricing of mortgage loan products based on thefinancial markets, reviewing the interest rate risk of the portfolio, andrecommending mortgage sales.Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to mortgagelending.Oversee servicing, including quality control, post-closing and secondarymarketing.Investor Reporting.Minimum formal education required for this position:Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or similar discipline(Preferred) Masters Degree in Business, Finance, or similar disciplineMinimum work experience:15+ years in lending10+ years in lending management that covers a wide variety ofresponsibilities. These responsibilities must for include management ofunderwriting, processing, closing, and origination areas.Technical or specialized knowledge/skills:Analytical skills, including knowledge of loan pricing, loan sale profitand loss, loan underwriting requirements, along with compliance knowledgeof Reg. B, Reg Z, HMDA, RESPA, etc.Comprehension of mortgage lending compliance regulations, conventional,FHA and VA experience for structuring loan programs.Extensive experience with FNMA DU automated underwriting system.Knowledge of tax disbursement and servicing requirementsAdvanced communication, relations, and coaching skillsMust be skilled in developing educational training materials and programs forstaffCertifications required:Colorado Drivers License with an acceptable driving recordEnvironmental, physical and psychological requirements:Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climatecontrolled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists forrepetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper,currency, or coin, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual andauditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interactvia email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesywith all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs$167,190.40 to $250,764.80.
