Join our team and thrive in a career that matters to the worldand you personally.RESPONSIBILITIESThe role of the UEM/MDM Engineer will include overseeing the design,buildout, and management of efficient, supportable, end-user computeenvironments for Windows, Mac, Linux and Mobile clients. You will beresponsible for implementation, administration, and management of clientenvironments that enhance corporate client computing to meet businessrequirements. You will design and administer UEM/MDM functionality forworkstation systems including deployment configuration management,patching, upKEY FUNCTIONSManages and drives end-to-end process design, improvements, automation andadministration of the client engineering practice (e.g. ApplicationPackaging/Deployment, Hardware Insertion, OS and Application LifecycleManagement, and Security frameworks)Manages 10,000+ device environment using enterprise client management toolsLeads the transition of solutions from development to operations. Developsmaintenance and automation scripts, implements monitoring strategies,implements continuity of operations strategies, defines metrics, definesservice and operation level agreements, and writes support documentation.Trains application administrators and Service Desk personnel for ongoingoperational maintenance of the production systemDevelops adoption plans, including communications and training, for newsoftware servicesDocuments existing system architecture and configuration and developsrecommendations for evolving the system based on changing requirementsEvaluates new technologies and leads cross-organizational teams to analyze,select, implement, and integrate these technologies with existing IT servicesAnticipates future IT service needs and investigates the potential ofpractical solutions.Acts as a primary Aerospace technical contact with vendors for technicalsupport. Identifies and analyzes technical support deficiencies and worksclosely with vendors to improve support.Works closely with team to develop improved workstation management automationand reporting.Provides subject matter expertise to train and assist applicationadministrators with software installation and upgrades, systemenhancements, integration, and troubleshootingParticipates in engineering architectural strategy, including technologystandardization and modernizationActs as an ambassador and change agent to build a culture of continuousimprovementDevelops strategies to mitigate end-user issues at an enterprise levelREQUIRED II:Typically requires 3 years experience with a Bachelor's degreeSecret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain oneExperience documenting and analyzing business processesExperience managing multi-platform MDM solutions (SCCM, Intune,Workspace One, JAMF, Ivanti or similar)Enterprise scale device managementincluding Windows, macOS, iOSSeeks opportunities for process, procedure and policy improvement.Recommends improvements and contributes to solutionsCompletes all project tasks effectively, managing own schedule and priorities.Manage multiple priorities and projects at one timeEffective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with otherinternal and external organizationsDemonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needsStrong written and oral communication skillsCustomer service orientationAbility to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities,and to work within...
