Peraton Corporation Task Manager - Technical in Colorado Springs, Colorado
We are seeking a mid-Shift Lead in Colorado Springs to support the Consolidated Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) Modification, Maintenance, & Operations (CAMMO) contract. The CAMMO contract maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, operation & site support, organizational & depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications and factory/launch compatibility testing for the AFSCN resulting in reduced Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs.The CAMMO contract requires employees to perform mission essential functions for high consequence DoD missions during contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency situations.
In order to respond to changing circumstances, applicants must be willing to remain flexible with their work schedule. Flexibility includes, but is not limited to, adjusting to changes to increase efficiency; covering shifts for personnel who are absent; and willingly adapting to a dynamic 24X7X365 work environment that may require extended shifts and/or lock downs. The Colorado Springs work locations includes Schriever Air Force Base and both Prime and Peraton work locations.
What you’ll do…
You will direct, supervise, and provide regular feedback on performance to shift personnel
You will coordinate effective communication and support within AND between shifts for operations and maintenance to include verbal discussions and MSL/IMDS entry review for accuracy
You will organize and prepare monthly work schedules to ensure minimum staffing levels are met. Includes creating monthly schedules and resolving schedule conflicts to ensure vacant positions are filled to meet staffing requirements
You will assess employees skills, talents, performance and productivity and provide guidance and advice for improvement
You will oversee shift personnel’s individualized training, manage training records and monitor training programs effectiveness
You will administer task proficiency assessments to evaluate knowledge and competence of shift personnel relating to tasks being performed.
You will supervise, manage and assist with all operations and organizational level maintenance activities for equipment identified in the CAMMO PWS to include, but not limited to, preventive maintenance activities, TMDE compliance, corrosion control activities, TO subaccounts/accounts oversight, IMDS oversight, EIL management, EDLM/UDLM support, and safety reviews
You will develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions.
You will work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.
You will maintain IAT/IAM Level certification(s) as mandated by the contract through DoD approved continuing education (CE) requirements; currently Security Plus
You will perform IAT Level II SA duties for CAMMO PWS specific AFSCN systems, subsystems, and mission support systems/applications to include, but not limited to, managing accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, testing and installing software/hardware, performing image backups/restores, maintaining a daily activity log and managing storage space
You will provide administrative software support to maintain operational capability of defensive cyber operations tools as delivered for the AFSCN Network Monitoring Suite (NMS)
You will perform trend analysis on various types of communications-electronic equipment
You will diagnose and correct electronic circuitry malfunctions and assists in the development of electronic equipment.
You will report immediately to CAMMO leadership on all PWS related issues
You will provide input to CAMMO-wide document reviews and feasibility studies, as required
You will comply with SAFB security directives, cipher lock/combo lock requirements, and all safety, HAZMAT, MSDS and PPE requirements
You will maintain Risk Management awareness of day-to-day operations. Report mission impact or potential mission impacting events to CAMMO leadership
You will comply with all reporting requirements
You will perform higher level duties during periods of increased work load
A bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years’ experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
A current IAT Level 2 certification such as a Security + Certification.
The ablity to lift 35 lbs. unassisted
Knowledge of function, operation and mission of the AFSCN
An Active Secret Security Clearance

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act:
The yearly compensation range for this role is: Minimum- $62,400 to Maximum- $65,000.
The successful candidate will be offered a yearly compensation that aligns with their individual skills and experience as it directly relates to the position requirements.
