Davidson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Colorado Springs, CO.Space Systems Sector is seeking candidates for a position on the Sustainmentand Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as a Senior PrincipleSoftware Engineer.What You'll Get to Do:-Report directly to the Software Team Lead, implementing the NorthropGrumman architectural approach across Agile development activities.-Develop Agile Software releases through Scrum workflow while collaboratingwith weapon systems' chief engineers, multi-disciplined teams and internaland external stakeholders on technical planning, system integration,verification and validation, cost, and the achievement of long-termProgram goa-Design and develop system architectures in UML using Model-Based SystemsEngineering(MBSE) tools to define behavioral architecture while generatingviewpoints for the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System(PARCS).-Advise internal and external stakeholders on Agile implementation inaccordance with the program's Software Development Plan.-Support requirements development and functional allocation to hardware,software, operator and other segments and components of the weapon systems.Author and peer review engineering documentation while ensuring technicalquality, accuracy, and appropriate engineering rigor is applied.-Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation.Requirements management:-MBSE, Functional Block Diagrams, Specification Trees.-Systems and end item requirements: elicitation, validation and verification.Design:systems design, systems architecture, systems integration.Decision Making:N2 analysis, trade studies, risk management, cost-risk-benefit analysis.Requirements:-Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or relateddiscipline from an accredited college.-9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professionalexperience with a Master's degree.-Active DoD Secret clearance required to start-Experience developing system descriptive models using the Unified ModelingLanguage (UML)-Understanding of SDLC engineering lifecycle, principles and processes-Strong background in C++ is required-and#8203;Demonstrated communication skills and flexibility-Experience in Agile Software development-Proficiency in MS OfficeDesired Competencies/Experience/Certifications:-Experience with PTC Integrity Modeler or other applicable, configurationmanagement tools (ex. Cameo)-Experience in Java-Familiarity with the Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF-Familiarity with the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack CharacterizationSystem (PARCS)-Experience in Agile Software development methodologyClearance Requirements:Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
