We develop,implement and improve the products and processes that make us world leaders,and you will be supported and encouraged to expand your skills and knowledgeevery step of the way.This challenging position is located at the base of Pikes Peak - America'sMountain in beautiful Colorado Springs which is also the home of the OlympicTraining Center and U.S. Air Force Academy!Job DescriptionAs a member of the New Products Introduction (NPI) Engineering Team, youwill work closely with a cross functional team of RandD, Manufacturing,and Marketing engineers through the development of a new product untilsuccessful launch into a production environment.In this role you will havemany responsibilities including:- Turn on and troubleshoot boards and systems- Responsible for product performance and reliability- Provide technical documentation - troubleshooting docs, training docs, etc.- Create manufacturing characterization test plans- Develop and implement characterization tests for new products- Review and validate Datasheets to ensure alignment with manufacturing tests- Ensure DFx by working closely with RandD team during all phases of theproject, including Design for Test and product self-tests- Characterize new products being developed, providing test data to RandD- Review/Evaluate and participate in setting production line specs based onstatistical data analysis. Correlate and get buy in from partners.- Support and implement the transition of products and manufacturing processesfrom prototype to full production and through the entire life cycle of theproduct.- Partner with procurement and technical services to improve/sustainproducts and processes.Job QualificationsBachelors BSEE or Masters MSEE, or equivalent, with 5-10 years ofapplicable experience.Specific Technical Skills Required:Experience with Microsoft Visual StudiosExperience with .Net, C, C++, C#Understanding of Statistical AnalysisProficient Analog and Digital circuit analysis and design skillsProficient Analog and Digital measurement techniquesExperience with SW Programming/code developmentExperience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes andProbesSpecific skills/experience desired:Manufacturing test development experience, specifically with TE.net testplatform and programming in C#Experience working in Manufacturing environmentOther Required Skills:Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectivelyDemonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environmentsuccessfullyDemonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and changeAbility to deliver results under schedule pressureAble to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems
