If so, we are looking for you!Beacon is currently seeking a Clinical Service Assistant to join our team outof Colorado Springs, CO. The Clinical Services Assistant II will serve asthe primary telephone contact in our healthcare call center to assist callersand members with accessing mental health services.What does a typical day look like?* A successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to qualityclient/member service with a goal of assisting providers and members attainimproved healthcare.* Responsible for maintaining phone coverage in a call center environmentthrough answering incoming calls, monitoring CMS call management reports,and triaging calls to appropriate clinical personnel.* Assist members and providers who request authorizations and referrals tooutpatient mental health care, which are completed using workflows andguidelines provided, and includes appropriate documentation in an electronichealth record.* Responsible for the daily maintenance and management of provider requestsfor authorizations, claims assistance, or other requests, submittedthrough an online provider service.* Work must be completed in a timely and professional manner and may includemaking outreach telephone calls to the provider.* Primary contact for all provider questions involving single caseagreements, treatment authorizations, and claims processes* Other duties as assignedWhat you Contribute?Education: High School diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor'sdegree in healthcare or business-related field is strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills .and. Abilities: Highly prefer experience working in ahealthcare environment with a high level of professional customer service. Atleast three years of experience with call center customer service orhealthcare administration with progressively greater responsibility isrequired.
