LinQuest Business Development and Account Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado

DescriptionLinQuest is seeking an experienced leader to join our Business DevelopmentTeam in Colorado Springs.We have mature processes, an outstanding proposal staff, and a robustpipeline and are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with theability to expand our capabilities and presence across the United States SpaceForce. This candidate should be a self-starter with a strong track record ofsuccess in space operations, requirements development, and systemsacquisition. This position will report to the LinQuest VP for BusinessDevelopment and will be responsible for expanding our customer pipeline of newbusiness from identification to shaping through capture and proposal. Primaryoffice location in Colorado Springs, CO.Responsibilities:Responsible for all aspects of business development, to include establishingleads/contacts within USSF customer communities in Colorado Springs, LosAngeles, Albuquerque, and the National Capital Region and identifying andacquiring new business within those markets.Leads efforts to identify, qualify, pursue, and capture governmentcontracts through client relationships, bid strategies, productiveteaming, and effective proposal development.Leads and/or supports capture management activities for specific identifiedopportunities, including developing overall capture/win strategy andassociated budget.Interfaces with LinQuest technical, program management, contracts,finance, and proposal personnel in preparation of technical and pricingstrategies in support of proposals.Develops and provides company awareness/capabilities briefings, attendsopportunity Industry Days and participates in customer one-on-one meetings,and provides information for bid/no bid decision making.Ensure opportunity information is accurately and completely represented in theLinQuest BD Database.Support company growth strategy development and execution.Follow and improve upon LinQuest BD processes and tools.Required Skills:Understanding of the new business pursuit lifecycle, with emphasis on marketanalysis, customer and opportunity identification and qualification, andopportunity shaping, in advance and support of capture strategy, winstrategy, and proposal development.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to create and sustain excellent long-term customer relationships.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative teamenvironment.Ability to qualify and mature opportunities throughout the pursuitlifecycle, gather information, meet gateway requirements, and briefsenior leadership.Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams in a high operations tempoenvironment.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools and databases,specifically SalesForce.Capture and proposal development training (e.g., Shipley) a plus.Required Experience:Bachelor Degree is required.Minimum of 15 years of demonstrated leadership experience in space systemsacquisition and/or operations.Experience with and existing relationships in USSF and former AFSPCorganizations.Understands and can articulate issues and challenges in the National SecuritySpace community.Must be US citizen with minimum of Top Secret Clearance, with SCIeligibility to be considered for this positionPreferred Experience:Prior military...
