The Role:

S&P Global Ratings has an opening in their Centennial, Colorado office for an organized and professional Administrative Assistant that is adaptable to multiple requirements of the role, able to work independently and within a team environment. The Administrative Assistant provides a broad range of administrative support to multiple S&P s Ratings Services departments including the Operating Office, IT, and Analytical functions.

The Impact:

The Administrative Assistant will participate in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks for the Centennial Ratings team. Assist with pre & post logistics for all events, provide travel planning and expense reporting assistance and assist with onboarding of new employees.

The Administrative Assistant will be a member of the Ratings team and will work closely with analysts and managers among various sectors and practices.

Provide administrative support to the Centennial Ratings department with duties, including but not limited to, assisting with new hire on-boarding, preparing reports or proposals, filing, scanning, calendar management, expense reports, meetings and travel co-ordination.

Work with Administrative Assistants in other regional offices on different presentations - bios - packages and special assignments.

Assist in the coordination of meetings, action items and other administrative needs of the team, as required.

Ensure team members are prepared for all meetings and carry forward action items.

File management; keep current files on site, ensure all other files are either scanned and filed online or in offsite storage.

Act as an ambassador, plays a key role in ensuring that S&P is viewed as a professional, friendly, easily accessible and approachable partner internally and externally.

Work cross functionally as part of a team with other members and departments.


College or university degree preferred.

5 years experience in an administrative role ideally gained from banking, professional services or other fast-paced environments.

Experience managing complex global travel arrangements and itineraries.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Calendar) and comfort and interest in learning new applications.

Extremely motivated, eager to learn, adaptable and professional.

Proven attention to accuracy and detail, highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Exceptional (written and verbal) communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a high performing culture, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines.

Personable, easily interacts with all types of personalities and at all levels with a high degree of professionalism.

Proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team oriented environment
