The successful candidate will workwith the Parts and Service Division's (PSD) global trainingdepartment, to facilitate US Customer Center (US CC) compliance andparticipation in divisional initiatives. This role will achieve growthinitiatives by focusing on improved customer satisfaction through effectivecommunication and partnership with the goal to achieve best service providerstatus among all current and prospective customers. The Product SupportSpecialist - Trainer/Surface and Exploration Drilling will spend a portionof their time working underground, so candidates must be comfortable workingin that environment. The preferred locations for this role are within closeproximity to the following Epiroc service center locations: Elko NV,Tucson AZ, Denver CO, Salt Lake City UT and Garland, TX, althoughconsideration may be given to candidates who are in close proximity (within2 to 3 hours) of an international airport.The work environment in the mining and construction industries has unique andinteresting challenges one won't find in other professions. It is allencompassing, anywhere from office attire one day to working in a rough andrugged environment another day in some of the most beautiful and pristineareas of the world. This position is considered safety sensitive and in allsituations an emphasis on personal health and safety must be maintained.Responsibilities:Responsible for supporting Epiroc service centers, sales organization,productcompanies, product support technicians, dealer partners and endusers for allproduct lines, warranty and technical supportDevelop and provide high quality safety and operational training on allEpirocdivisional related products and services as requested for operators,mechanics andother Epiroc employees and external customersOrganize, document and maintain procedures for all technical operationssupportactivitiesParticipate in the creation, documentation and implementation ofoperationstraining to assist service centers, dealers and customers toachieve increased andsafe levels of efficiency and productivity in alignmentwith Epiroc Technical Information Services standardsDeliver training in surface and underground mining environmentsUtilize Epiroc published documentation wherever applicable in order to presentaconsistent and repeatable message to customers, aligned with the Epirocglobaltraining standard strategyFacilitate Capital Equipment and Surface and Exploration Division (SED)testing, tomaximize product longevity for the customer and deliver productas neededManage, coach, train and lead employees in a fashion that is consistentwith ourcompany's culture and management philosophy by developing trainingplans,personally and organizationally, for new models and optionsWork to understand and utilize information and communication systemsandtools, i.e. e-mail, DocMine, SAP, BPCS, MS Office software, etc.Ensure that the correct responsible departments are involved in thedevelopmentof procedures to ensure that all Epiroc USA company activities areperformed in accordance with Epiroc published documentation training standardswhenever possibleDrive product operational feedback up to the responsible Divisions throughtheuse of Epiroc preferred company reporting systems, personal communicationandproduct counsel communicationContinually improve the capabilities of the front line service
