The bartender will rotate between allresort bars.Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $9.30/hourplus gratuities where applicable. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more orless than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex orraceResponsibilitiesAcknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs and respond toguest inquiries or requests.Must have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bar area.Properly provide silverware and condiments prior to food being presented atbar area.Clean and resetting of bar area as guests depart or preparation of drink iscompleted.Proper bar setup and break down.Triple sink procedures.Communicate with management, kitchen staff, and serving staffprofessionally at all times.Contributes to a professional workplace that maximized employee moral,productivity and effectiveness. Works well with a diverse Front of House andBack of House staff.Ensures responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirementsincluding carding and consumption.Accurately takes food and beverage orders from guests and promptly records alltransactions in Micros system. Maintains guest tabs and processes paymentpromptly.Monitors pars.Must have experience selling/up selling.Must have knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment.QualificationsMinimum 1-2 years bartending experience, high volume and casual environmentpreferred.Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.Must have strong communication skills.Must be familiar with a service bar atmosphere combination with bar.Must have wine, beer and spirits knowledge.Must have an unexpired TIPs, CARE, or ServSafe Alcohol and Food Handlercertification.Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.Ability to lift, carry, place items up to 50lbs without assistance.Ability to work in an hight paced environment while maintaining a professionaldemeanor at all time. - vets/disability.
