If yes, then joinour Program ServicesTeam!Position OverviewRocky Mountain Institute (RMI) is seeking aTechnical ProjectManagerwithexceptional organizational and communication skills.In this role, youwillwork closely with key stakeholdersacross all levels of the organization. Thisindividual, on the Program Services Team,is responsible formanagingmultiplecompany-wide projects, both Waterfall and Agile.Responsiveness tobusiness priorities is critical along with an eye for continuous improvementandsupporting a quickly scaling company.KeyResponsibilities:Responsible formanaging complex projects with manycustomersandcross-organizationalprograms.Executeagainstaggressive schedules,whileholdingteams and individualsaccountable to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority.Facilitate, coordinate, and track activities required to ensureorganizational projects are completed on time, successfully, and in amanner consistent with organizational goals.Developand driveagreement on project charters, which include clearmilestones and assignment of project task responsibilities.Provide direct communication to management onprogress,opportunitiesand issues along with identification andrecommended remediation for institutional bottle necks.Listen to the voice of the customer to ensure deliverables address needs.Track team delivery on commitments using project plans, Gantt charts,burndown charts and other visual methods and track team velocity andother performance metrics to ensure accuracy of future planning.Mentor team members on project management (Waterfall and Agile Scrum)principles and drive conflict resolution.Support in RMI's exposure and development ofscrum strategies,ensuring usefulness and adherence to scrum practices, while continuingto build sustainable processes.Facilitatesprintplanning sessions ensuring the commitments made areappropriate and uphold scrum principles.Prioritizethe backlog tasks to ensure the team is focused on criticaltasks.Act as leader within and beyond immediate department, leads projectsand provides leadership for cross functionalteams.Empower teams to self-organize and facilitate continuous improvementactivities throughretrospectives.Identify, negotiateand resolve complex technical and project teamissues.Champion PMBOK project management best-practices, including Agile Scrumadoption across the organization.Work collaboratively across Departments including IT,Programs,Communications, Accounting, and Development.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or anequivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum5years of relevant work experienceand3years in a ProjectManagement and/or Scrum role, OR Project Management Certified withdemonstrated project-relatedexperienceExperience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)A documented history of successfully driving projects tocompletionA demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complexrequirementsGood judgment and strong decision-making abilityStrong ability to communicate effectively, in writing andverbally,with senior staff in various organizations andgovernmentsAdditional QualificationsPassion for the mission of RMIStrong team and interpersonal skills and the ability to workindependentlyAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.Ability to perform duties in a collaborative, unstructured workingenvironment, strong verbal and written communication and presentationskills, stron
