job description
Senior Accountant
Randstad is seeking a Senior Accountant for a BioTech organization in Boulder, CO that is directly involved with progressing our nation out of the current COVID-19 climate. Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role will have 3-5 years of experience, hold their CPA license, be able to handle a "startup culture", and be excited and knowledgable about the BioTech industry. Salary range falls between $80K and $85K, with full benefits + equity offered as well.
Responsibilities
Assist with month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations
Make journal entries and reconcile bank statements
Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
Record and track asset depreciation
Assist with auditor requests
Special projects as assigned
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
Microsoft Excel (5 years of experience is preferred)
General Ledger Accounting
Reconciliations
Education
- Bachelors (required)
