Theprogram is focused ontransitioningthe global power sector tocarbon free sources in this decisivedecade. TheCFEteam has both a national U.S. and global focus. Dueto theincreased cross-over of mission andmarket development, the CFEteamalsointegratesits workon the power sectorwith other RMI teamssuch asBuilding Electrification andElectrificationof transport and cities-as well asthe RMI Development team. In this role, you will work as an integral part ofthe CarbonFreeElectricityteam, while also collaborating with RMI'sbroaderMarketing and Communications team.RMI communication plans utilize diverse channels and media.You should enjoysupporting the programcommunication strategy and plans, both individuallyand through effectively executing on communication campaigns and theproduction of reports and other research outputs. You should also enjoyworking acrossRMI's otherprogramareasandinitiatives,withbothinternalcommunicationspartners andoutsidecolleagues andresources.Specific Roles and Responsibilities:Support communications to both internal and external stakeholders acrossmultiple channels.Helpdevelop communicationsbriefs andgo-to-marketplans - working withteams to identity key market insights, strategicmessaging,andkeyaudienceinsights.Develop communication content and assets, includingreportlaunches,communicationsassets such as social media, press materials and emailmarketing,videos, blogs, and digitalcontent.Develop press materials; maintain CFE Press List;assistin pitchingCFE Projects directly to press outlets/reportersand set up interviewswith our subject matterexperts.Traffic the production of content such as reports, blog posts, socialmedia posts, email marketing and digital video content, making sureeditorial, design, and media have what they need toensure projectsare completed on time and in line with requirements.Support the creation of content assets for content marketing campaigns,including things like videos, graphics, animations.Maintain internal project management tools to ensure all programcommunication activities are coordinated, including things likeinternaland external publications, speaking engagements, program events,and digital and social mediacampaigns.Keep the Carbon FreeElectricityMarketing and Communicationseffortsorganizedon behalf ofthe CFE team andinsupportofthe Program Marketer.Develop andmaintainthe CFE Team project calendar that mapsupcomingwork, work in progress and completed projects.Set up monthly "touch bases" with teams from each CFE initiative withthe purpose of understanding upcoming projects, their content andtiming.Be familiar with or willing to learn the process of writing bothMarketing andCommunicationsPlans and Creative Briefs.Support Program marketerbysettingupKick-off briefings from CFE teamproject leads to the Communications Team.Manage all workflows and maintaincommunications assets on platforms suchas monday.comandBynder. Organize andmaintainthe CFE team'scommunications assets on SharePoint.Support Program Marketing lead in sharing marketing andcommunicationsassets prior toproject launches with the RMI DevelopmentCommunications team.Develop and Maintain the CFE team Media Contact ListWork with the Communications team todevelopan
