Acritical success factor for this position includes working with the personalbanking team in attaining banking center goals and constantly striving toimprove the profitability of the banking center.RESPONSIBILITIES:A. Transaction/Sales Responsibilities: 1. Provides first line back up for all Personal Banking positions(excluding lending responsibilities) daily to include but not limited to: a. Operating a transaction window b. Processing customer checking, savings and loan transactions c. Open, close and service customer accounts 2. Provides excellent customer service while listening for salesopportunities, explains and promotes bank products or services to customersand actively participates in the referral program and strives to meet goal(as determined by individual bank). 3. Follows bank policies and procedures as they relate to customertransactions. 4. Effectively use sales skills such as: effective listening, adapting todifferences in customers, identifying needs, responding to verbal andnon-verbal clues, presenting solutions through product benefits,establishing a clear difference, overcoming resistance, asking for thebusiness, completing sale, nurturing relationships, and establishingmethods fo 5. Follow up with prospects and current customers by telephone or letter topromote new products and services and/or thanking customers for existingbusiness. 6. Actively monitor the status of key customer relationships to promotebusiness growth and service quality, Increase the number of services usedper customer to increase both profits and customer retention. 7. Answer questions and solve problems for customers and office staffconcerning all services provided by the bank 8. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer and bank information. 9. Follows security policies and procedures to prevent bank and customerlosses. 10. Resolves customer complaints. 11. Maintains a detailed level of knowledge of retail products andservices; a conversational knowledge of non-retail products (e.g.,wealth management) 12. Opens, closes, and allows, customer's access to their safetydeposit box following specified procedures if necessary. 13. Works collaboratively with the personal banking team to achieve customerservice and sales objectives 14. Actively participates in banking center sales activitiesB. Operations Responsibilities: 1. Provides training as necessary 2. May act as backup to the branch operations supervisor in their absence asdesignated 3. Maintains an acceptable Cash Over and Short account according to the bankpolicy guidelines. 4. Prepares Currency Transaction Reports and Monetary Instrument logs. 5. Must be security conscious and comply with all Bank SecrecyAct/Anti-Money Laundering requirements, Privacy of Customer InformationPolicy, and all consumer protection laws, regulations, and Bank policiesas related to assigned job duties. 6. Processes Proof Transactions using Image Vision 7. Opens and closes the banking center according to bank security policy. 8. Balances and replenishes ATMs, as needed. 9. Balances coin machines; credit card cash advance machine, etc., as needed. 10. Completes referral training, annually. 11. Completes annual E-Learning Plan, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and othercompliance training as assigned and maintains up-to-date knowledge of BSA andother regulatory requirements as it relates to the job functi
