The Spa Massage Therapist is responsible for providing club members and their guestswith safe and effective therapy services while consistently exceeding guest expectations. Keeps work areas clean and treatment rooms organized. Must possess current licenses and certificates as required by state law.
Other duties include:
Have complete knowledge of all Spa Services, Packages, Promotions, and retail products presently offered by the spa.
Maintains professional relationships with spa clientele.
Be team oriented and respectful of fellow employees
Begin and end all treatments on time, adhering to the appointment book and guest scheduling
Keep work areas clean and treatment rooms organized according to standards.
Maintain storage areas to ensure cleanliness, freshness, and organization.
Attend departmental meetings as scheduled by spa management and/or resort management.
Be familiar with all resort services/ features and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.
Complies with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation.
Qualifications
Graduate from a massage program with a minimum of 500 hours - required
Able to speak English - required
1-3 years of Spa work experience preferred in an upscale hotel/resort - required
CPR Certification - required
Valid Colorado Driver's License - required
Preferred Massage skills: Swedish, Sports, Deep tissue, Hot stone, anatomy and physiology - required
Must be able to sit, stand, and walkfor long periods of time - required
The budgeted range starts at Base Rate + Tips. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
