JOB SUMMARY: Conduct audits during night shift for management to assesseffectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiencyof operations by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet, register and assign rooms to guests as needed during shift. Issue room keys and assist guests with directions and Christie Lodgeinstructions. Answer telephone and directs people to the correct extensions. Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts. Post charges such as room, and telephone if necessary. Prepares and submits audit finding to proper managers. Examine department activities for compliance with management plans andpolicies. Inspect accounting systems to determine their efficiency and protectivevalue. Balance agents' daily audits, credit card and correct any mistakes. Must possess good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships withguests, co-workers and management. Ability to deal with irate guests in a calm, professional manner. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions fromgroups of managers, clients, customers, and general public. Ability to be sensitive to owners/guests needs and wishes. Should have sufficient computer skills that will allow the individual to beable to use, in a proficient manner, certain Company-issued MicrosoftOffice software programs that relate to the position. Read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, policy andprocedure manuals. Write and read correspondence, summaries, and reports in English usingprescried format. Ability to speak effectively in English before groups such as guests,employees and management. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form. Basic math skills are required: Ability to add, subtract, multiplyand divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractionsand decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissionsand percentages. Fluency in English (verbal, written and reading) is required. Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneQUALIFICATIONS: EducationoHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience/KnowledgeoMinimum 3 to 6 months of related experience, preferably at a resort hotelor related industry.oMust have proven guest service experience and understand the importance ofthe highest quality of customer service.oPrior experience working with hotel guest registration systems is a plus,but not required.oMust have skills and experience to use the internet to search for workrelated purposes.
