2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is looking for a Warranty Administration Specialist.The Warranty Admin Specialist manages cases and files within a giventerritory. The successful candidate will be self motivated, organized with astrong work ethic and enjoys working in a team environment.JOB DUTIES:Answer daily inquiries on the general phone and e-mail queuesCommunicate warranty responsibilities and standards (verbally and inwriting) to builders, homeowners, sales reps, and others to providewarranty guidance and/or expedite warranted repairs and minimize insuranceclaiManage 100+ case files by administering the warranty resolution process,which includes investigating facts and gathering documentation necessary toconciliate or mediate between the Homeowner and Builder/Seller.Thoroughly review claims prior to submitting to the Warranty Insurer andpromptly submit claims to the Warranty Insurer when necessary.Draft effective written correspondence describing the Construction PerformanceGuidelines as applied to contractual rights and responsibilities of theinvolved parties.Other duties as assigned.RESPONSIBILITIES:Mediate, negotiate, and facilitate solutions in complex warranty complaintcases, under minimal supervisionConciliate and resolve warranty/construction issues by interfacing with theBuilder, homeowner(s), sales reps, and other parties involved inwarranty complaints, arbitrations and structural claimsCommunicate warranty responsibilities and standards to Builders in order toexpedite necessary warranty repairs and minimize insurance claimsDiffuse escalated situations while reviewing warranty coverage(s)Follow-up with all necessary parties within expected deadlinesQUALIFICATIONS:Associates degree or equivalent business experience with proven college-levelwriting skills and exceptional verbal communication skillsPossess critical thinking skills to analyze and negotiate a resolution withexperience in resolving highly escalated situationsAbility multi-task between managing files, emailing, answering phones,and making outgoing callsAble to read and understand technical information, follow instructionsand/or guidance given by your supervisor/manager, must be ableinvestigate, gather and record information, and to accurately apply thewarranty terms and conditions to resolve construction disputes filed under theMust have proficient computer skills working in Word, Excel, and OutlookWorking knowledge in Laserfiche is a plusExperience with arbitration and responding to attorney letters is a plusBENEFITS and PERKSBenefits are an integral part of the overall compensation package provided by2-10 Home Buyers Warranty and a key tool in recruiting and retaining greatemployees.
