Senior Procurement AnalystJob LocationsUS-CO-AuroraID2020-2973CategoryDefenseTypeFull TimeOverviewAmyx Inc. is looking to hire a Sr. Procurement Analyst for our DHA contract inAurora, CO.ResponsibilitiesProvide Defense Heath Agency (DHA) Procurement Policy support. Specifictasks include, but are not limited to:Utilize knowledge of and experience in procurement principles, laws,regulations, and practices; decisions of the Comptroller General and ArmedServices Board of Contract Appeals; and OMB Circulars to determine theadequacy of acquisition procedures in support of DHA Deputy Assistant Director- Acquisitions (DAD-A) Procurement Policy team.Formulate planning alternatives for implementation of changes in law,regulation and policy directives of higher authority and identifyingrecommended changes.Perform analysis and evaluation of contracts, contracting actions, andsupporting documentation for the purpose of initiating and developingcontracting policies, procedures, and guidance material; and forproviding technical advice and recommendations to management officials,contracting officers, and other contract and technical support personnel.Provide administrative support including typing, filing, reportdistribution, data entry, and preparation of presentations, meetingscheduling and other administrative duties as assigned.Maintain suspense lists for contract administration activities, coordinatefunding, acceptance, and payment actions with other organizations, andperform other contract administration support functions.QualificationsA course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in anyfield, that includes or is supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in anycombination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance,law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management,marketing, quantitative methods, or organization.Minimum 10 years direct federal procurement experience in GS-1102 (orsimilar) capacity of which a minimum five years is Department of Defense(DoD) procurement policy.Exceptional knowledge of all phases of acquisition management.Knowledge of price and cost analysis sufficient to review proposals againstprevious history, actual and estimated expenditures, and established ratesto determine price reasonableness or to determine a negotiation position.Knowledge of the methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, andresolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete actionplans to solve problems.Exceptional knowledge of Federal and DoD contracting principles (FederalAcquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition RegulationSupplement (DFARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws,regulations, and procedures.Demonstrated ability to provide expert technical advice, staff coordinationand consultation to foster formulating guidelines, implementing newdevelopments, and providing expert interpretation.Salary Range: $95,000-120,000Please contact talent@amyx.com with any questions!Amyx is an Equal Opportunity employer.
