This position reports directly to Sana Karam, MD, PhD Assistant Professor and will be based in a cancer biology/cancer immunology research lab. Candidate hired at this position will design and conduct experiments, will be involved in lab management, will write grants, papers, and present research findings in seminar settings, and perform other duties as assigned. Conduct experiments using animal models in vitro models and a variety of molecular biology, cellular biology, and immunology based assays and techniques

Ph.D. in immunology (preferred), cancer biology, molecular biology or related field.
Eligibility to apply for T32 or F31 NIH training grants is a MUST
Bioinformatics skills preferred
Good communication and organizational skills
Good computer skills
Minimum two-year commitment
Desired or preferred:
Experience with biological modeling
Experience handling rodents/using animal models
Background in immunology is a plus
