The Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine (CCPM) has an opening for a full-time, University Staff (unclassified) Business Services Professional position.

_Nature of Work:_

The University of Colorado | Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine (CCPM) has an opening for a full-time, University Staff (non-classified) Business Services Professional. Under the direction and guidance of the CCPM Center Director and DFA, this full-time position will be responsible managing and coordinating financial and HR activities for the Health Data Compass and Biobank. Financial related duties include: developing financial reports, tracking the flow of funds including revenues and expenses; auditing financial data; and managing procurement activities, as well as expense and travel reimbursements. HR related duties include: developing job descriptions; assisting with the classification of positions within the University system; evaluating applicants; and managing applicant outreach. Additionally this role will assist with meeting coordination, website maintenance, and provide general support of the various activities, functions, and infrastructure needs of the faculty of CCPM.

_Examples of Work Performed:_

  • Serves as the initial point of contact for the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine.

  • Assists faculty and staff as needed with policies and procedures related to necessary functions and operations of the University, the Center, and the Division.

  • Manages, processes, and serves as the point of contact for procurement, accounts payable, and employee/non-employee expense reimbursements, including travel and moving reimbursements.

  • Assists faculty and staff as needed with policies and procedures related to necessary functions and operations of the University, the Center, and the Division.

  • Develops financial reports; tracks the flow of funds for the Health Data Compass and Biobank; performs audits of financial related data.

  • Serves as the point of contact for CU Careers recruitments: developing job descriptions for posting, managing candidates’ application materials, provides support to search committees, and assists with onboarding of new hires.

  • Drafts correspondence and communications for distribution as needed.

  • Coordinates multiple calendars: schedules meetings and meeting rooms/resources, and takes minutes when requested and distributes minutes to meeting attendees.

  • Develops and maintains office files as needed.

  • Perform additional duties, assigned or unassigned, as required by the nature and scope of the position in accordance with University of Colorado policies.

  • Stays current and complies with University, Federal, and State fiscal rules, policies, and procedures. Attends training, town-hall type meetings and forums related to procurement, travel, or other University related processes.

  • Purchases supplies for the Center’s work units, maintains inventory, and prepares procurement and travel reports as requested.

_Salary and Benefits:_

The hiring salary for this position is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is eligible for overtime.

_Minimum Qualifications:_

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting , education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

_Preferred Qualifications:_

  • One or more years of experience working an HR or finance related role.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

  • Experience working with University System (i.e. PeopleSoft HCM and mFin, Marketplace, Taleo, etc.).

  • Ability to use Microsoft products.
